About ME
Hello! I'm Janie fromJoyfulMoments Photography!
A photography session can be stressful, especially when you're not feeling photogenic or the kids are unpredictable. My mission is to make your session comfortable and YOU. If you don't want a certain picture, then I won't take it. And if you have kids, I'll partner with you to help get those smiles that you know they have deep down in there.
I have loved photography for many years, and now I'm wanting to share my love with you! People make me happy, so its not hard to spend an hour with a client. My hope is that you will feel special and comfortable while you experience a personal session.
I'm looking forward to working with you! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

A few fun facts about me!
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Sam, for almost a year (yes, we're still newlyweds :). AND, our first baby is due in just a few months. We are so excited to grow our little family once again!
I grew up in suburbs and cities, but now I live in a small town--All three have their own opportunities, but something I'm learning is photography travels everywhere. No matter where you live, someone wants their picture taken!
Coffee, ice cream, and cake are my three love languages ;) I am guaranteed to smile when I have one of these three things in my hand!
I also love to travel and see new places. I'm especially happy on a beach with my favorite people, but being in the mountains is a close contender!
I am looking forward to getting to know the little details that make you, YOU!
My Style
My desire is to highlight the faces in the picture and mute the background in a tasteful way. I love smiles, and I don't want my clients doing anything that they do not want to do. My style is personal to my clients as well--every person is different, and every session is done at a different time of day. Because of these things, I strive to create unity in my editing style while also gaging my clients and the session and working to make both goals flow together.
